  • Affectionate boy.
  • Will follow you all over, and sit on your lap.
  • Enjoys playtime with a feather toy on a string.
  • Likes to playfully nip, too -- especially toes! But responds well to gentle discouragement.
  • Rescued from a high-kill Los Angeles County shelter, where his owner brought him with a raging case of mange. Now happy and healthy, the only reminder of his former problems are a ""squinitiness"" to his eyes that remains even after all his medical treatments have long since been completed. It don't bother him none, though!
  • Unfortunately, Jinglebell has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), an immunosuppressive virus which could possibly result in greater susceptibility to disease and a shorter lifespan down the road (though most FIV+ cats live long and healthy lives). FIV can also be communicated between cats by biting, so if he were to go to a home with another cat it would need to be a cat that is nonaggressive so that there is no real chance of a bite occurring. We're happy to provide you with more information about FIV -- just ask!
