Note: This kitten has been exposed to ringworm, which is a fungal infection of the skin resulting in hairless, crusty patches lasting a few weeks each. Although ringworm doesn't bother the cat at all, it is long-lasting and contagious, especially to kids and kittens. Although there is no evidence as yet that this kitten has contracted ringworm, it is possible that lesions will yet develop.
