GENDER: Male (sterilized)
BREED: Domestic Short Hair orange
Estimated Birthday: 2/15/13
LITTER: ab388
  • This kitty has quite a story to tell!
  • We gathered up his group from a home with more than thirty breeding cats (and more on the way!) -- so we're not quite sure where one litter ends and the next begins.
  • One of the mom cats had quit, so the other one was trying to raise all of them, and not succeeding.
  • Our volunteers stepped in to take the kittens under their wings and hand raise them.
  • All went well until the kittens were about to be neutered, when several of them became gravely ill from feline distemper. These survivors required several months of TLC, but are now fully recovered (and, immune from that virus for life!)
  • Rupert does have a squinty eye due to a viral infection when he has younger. He may outgrow it, or it may persist. We will send along some antiviral eye drops to use if needed.
  • This sweet, loving and playful survivor deserves a good home and long life!
Consider taking me home with one of my littermates:
