  • Xena's former owner describes her as follows: Xena is very much the relaxed people-cat. She always wants to be around people, and will often follow from room to room to see what you are doing.
  • She does like to play, and to lay in the sunshine from a window, but she is always happiest when she can purr herself to sleep on someone's lap.
  • Like most cats, she will hide when she first hears or sees a new person, but she will come out to investigate quickly (much sooner than brother Socks #AB00200).
  • And, like her brother, she learned to open doors from a young age -- and so would always open the bedroom door each morning to wake everyone up.
  • Socks and Xena lost what was supposed to be their forever home when their adopter married a woman who insists that the cats be eliminated in case she becomes pregnant and while she has young children.
  • Since she returned to us, we have seen only a very reluctant and traumatized cat, nothing like her description. She needs dedicated love and care in a lifetime home to bring her back to the cat he used to be.
  • Not particularly attached to her brother.
